National Surgery Conference in Iasi - A Success of Romanian Surgery

Between 4-7 October of the current year the National Surgery Conference was held in Iaşi, a scientific event that gathered a large number of registered participants (1,431), as well as a record number (30) of specialists and professors of surgery, gastroenterology, anatomy - pathology, oncology, radiotherapy, invited from Europe, USA, Canada, and the Republic of Moldova. The organizers of the Conference were, in addition to the Romanian Society of Surgery (SRC), the Academy of Medical Sciences, "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Iasi, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Bucharest, the Society of Physicians and Naturalists of Iaşi, the Romanian Association of Hepatobilio- pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplant, the Romanian Association of Endoscopic Surgery and Other Interventional Techniques, the Romanian Society of Emergency Surgery and Trauma, the Romanian Society of Thoracic Surgery - 1994, the Romanian Society of Paediatric Surgery, the Romanian Society of Coloproctology, the Romanian College of Physicians, the Romanian Student Society of Surgery, the Order of General Medical Assistants, Midwives and Medical Assistants in Romania. The conference began on Wednesday, October 4, with 8 pre-congress classes held by specialists in the course themes and benefited from a large audience (especially young people, residents and specialists).
