This year, Celsius Publishing House published the treatise on surgical technique edited by Assoc. Prof. Ionel Tudor Campeanu, an outstanding editorial event in Romanian medical literature. The treatise reflects the achievements of Romanian surgery and is a synthesis of the advances that liver surgery has seen in recent years. The book is a reprint of the first edition published in 2017 by the same publishing house, being at the time, among the top 3 monographs worldwide (Launois - Jamieson 1993, Takasaki 2007), which treated liver resections in a Glissonian approach. The author is the pioneer of Glissonian approach liver resections introduced in Romania in 1998. Over the course of 220 pages, the treatise is divided into 22 chapters and provides specialists with the latest data on surgical technique and tactics regarding liver resections.
